I got a one-year-old, totally untrained lab two weeks before I was scheduled to have a major surgery (not sure what I was thinking). All dogs are good dogs, but Stuart had me in tears his first night because of his bad behavior. A friend recommended Jodie at Love of Paws, and she fit us in right away for private training to get us through the surgery time. We later enrolled in obedience classes. We now get regular compliments about his behavior, and I even brought him to my kid's elementary school playground at recess and he didn't jump on any kids. I definitely couldn't have this dog without Jodie. She's a miracle worker (and just a great person, too!).
